Identity & Clarity
I’ll be honest, I have written this blog in my head many times over the last few months. I just couldn’t bring myself to actually write it out. It seemed like such a delicate thing - how do you write about a season that was filled with doubt, struggle and the end of an engagement while being honouring to everyone involved? And while I always try to focus solely on my journey with the Lord and how the Lord is growing me and refining me, I feel that is especially critical in conveying what has happened in the last several months. And so, I hope that in all of this, my heart is evident. There is no ‘bad guy’ in this story, no one to be blamed. Just broken people (myself included), in need of a saviour. I write this to share with you what an incredible God we serve, a God who loves us and refines us, who is always with us, who is working out all things for good.
